Newborn Baby Must Haves In 2020!

A lot has changed since I had my first baby almost 9 years ago! Here are some baby items I’m so excited about using for baby #4!

Solly Baby Wrap– This is one of the baby items I’m most excited about trying out! I love to wear my babies and have used several different styles of wraps over the years! I love how lightweight the Solly baby wrap is especially for a Summer baby in VEGAS!

I’ve used many baby bath products over the years and I definitely have my favorites! I love Aveeno’s Lavender scented Comfort Bath and Lotion. It is my top pick! It is very gentle on baby’s skin & I really love the fresh baby scent.

I use Aquaphor for diaper cream! I put a small amount at each diaper change even if there is no sign of a rash. By doing this, it really prevents any rash from ever starting. I love that aquaphor is clear unlike most chalky, messy diaper creams. I always carry a smaller tube of it in my diaper bag!

Jersey Cotton Crib sheet– I love watercolor flowers! Are you sensing a theme here! We are going for a boho chic vibe with soft peach, pale pink, white, and cream for the nursery colors! I just ordered this sheet and it is perfect!

Baby Crib Bumper– 9 years ago a big fluffy bumper around the crib was all the rage, but since then the trend has gone more towards the thin mesh bumpers for safety. I decided not to get a bumper with our 3rd baby, but he would always get his legs caught in the crib slats while rolling around. My girls loved a cozy bumper as babies and would nestle their heads in the corners. This time around I opted for this style! Just enough fluff to be comfy, while still sleeping safely. Aren’t the white bows so adorable on this? This will be so cute tied to the crib!

2 Camera Video Monitor– With a 2.5 year old and a new baby on the way it was important for us to have a monitor with 2 separate cameras. I’m excited to try this one out! It definitely puts my mind at ease to be able to check on my babies from any room in the house. It also has a long range, so you can easily bring it with you outside! I imagine enjoying the pool during nap time and checking on my sleeping babies using this monitor.

Car Seat Cover/Nursing Cover– I love this style cover! It’s so versatile and can be used in many different ways shown above. It’s a great way to keep baby safe from germs and so comfortable to conceal baby under while nursing! I just love this flower print so much! Isn’t it darling for a girl? There are 20 different prints to choose from!

“>- I recently purchased this for Easton’s room, but it will also work out great for the nursery as well. It has several functions that can be controlled from your phone! It’s a nightlight, sound machine, and baby sleep timer all in one! What I mean by that, is you can set up the colors to change on a schedule that is right for your child. Easton knows that when the light turns green it is time to wake up! This really helps with keeping a great sleep schedule. I love it for a toddler and even for a baby once they get into a good sleep pattern. I love that once you set it up from your phone it automatically turns the sound machine and night light color of your choice at the specific times you schedule it for! I’m so glad my sister-in-law suggested this product!

Baby Gown– I bought this outfit for baby to come home in and it is so soft! It seriously feels like butter! It comes with a little knotted cap and a matching knit headband. It’s just so cute & such a great price!

Diapers and Wipes– These are both definitely must haves! I love using Pampers Swaddlers for newborns! They have the little stripe on the front which makes it so easy to see if baby is wet or not. The Sensitive wipes have always been a favorite of mine as well. I love that they are unscented and so soft. Perfect for a newborns delicate skin. I’ve used this brand with all of my babies and they work great!

Pacifier– How cute is this blush pink pacifier? It also comes in grey which I love too! Every baby is different and each of my babies had different relationships with “binky’s.” Savannah wanted nothing to do with it until about 6 months when it was comforting to her during those teething months. Tenley on the other hand loved a pacifier from day one, but then lost interest around 6 months. When I took it away she didn’t even notice. Easton used one for only 3 months! I love a good pacifier, but also learned along the way that it’s much easier to take it away sooner than later! I’m looking forward to finding out if baby #4 is going to like a “binky” or not! All I know is that I’m in love with this new design!

I had so much fun making this list, because it reminded me of some of the baby items I still need to purchase. I’m getting so EXCITED to meet our last baby girl! One more month to go!

I hope this list was helpful and gave you some great gift ideas for your soon to be momma friends! I know I have about 3-4 friends who are pregnant right now along with me! My sister-in-law is included in that list, which is so fun! I’m really looking forward to trying some new baby items this time around!

Have a blessed day!

Love,
